About Vikkla

Vikkla is a Swedish SaaS tool for job search organization, founded in April 2026 by Johan Andersson through Prouder AB. Vikkla helps job seekers save listings from any website, organize applications in a kanban board, log which CV version was sent to which company, and generate tailored CVs and cover letters with AI. Vikkla is not a job board — we do not list any vacancies. We organize the process after users find listings themselves.

Pronunciation: "vee-kla", from the Swedish verb utveckla meaning "to develop".

One-sentence pitch

A kanban-based job search organizer with AI-powered CV tailoring, built for the Swedish labor market, at one-third the price of US competitors.

One-paragraph pitch

Traditional tools for job search organization — bookmarks, Excel sheets, the Notes app — break down when an active seeker passes 10 parallel applications. Vikkla solves this with a kanban pipeline that mirrors the application's actual stages, a Chrome extension that saves listings from any website with a single click, and AI-generated CVs and cover letters tailored per listing. Vikkla is built for Swedish professionals first, priced at 59 SEK (~€6) per month with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required.

Possible angles

  • Swedish solo founder against US SaaS giants in a category they've dominated
  • AI-based CV tailoring — ethics, research landscape, common misconceptions
  • Pricing of time-bounded productivity tools (Vikkla's thesis: a job search is 3–6 months, not a lifelong subscription)
  • EU data residency as a competitive argument vs US tools
  • How the kanban method applies outside engineering teams

Frequently asked questions

Is Vikkla a job board?

No. Vikkla lists no vacancies. We are an organization tool used after a job seeker has found interesting listings on LinkedIn, company sites, government job boards, or other sources.

How does Vikkla differ from Teal and Huntr?

Three ways: built for Swedish CV conventions and the Swedish labor market first, priced at roughly one-third of US tools (€6 vs ~$29/month), and the Chrome extension captures listings from any website — not just major job boards.

Do you store sensitive data?

Yes, but everything is stored in the EU (Supabase Frankfurt) and sensitive fields (e.g. personal ID numbers for the Swedish AF activity-report feature) are encrypted separately. Full privacy policy: vikkla.com/en/privacy.

How does Vikkla make money?

Straight subscription — 59 SEK/€6 per month. No ads, no selling user data, no affiliate relationships with job boards. Paid subscriptions are the only revenue source.
